I am Elissa Carey, a freelance writer and editor. I am 35 years old, and live in Texas with my two children. I have been gaming actively since fall of 1990, and I enjoy a variety of genres from fantasy to science fiction. Below is listed all of the work I have done related to gaming and the gaming industry. August, 1991 - July, 1992 :: Successfully completed a course of study in Chinese [Mandarin]; Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, Presidio of Monterey, California; concurrently served in the United States Air Force as an Airman First Class [E-3] Far East Cryptologic Linguist [AFSC: 1N3A4], from June 1991 to April 1993. Possessed a TS/SCI clearance.
August - December, 1990 :: Pursued Liberal Arts degree in Psychology; University of Texas at Austin
June, 1990 :: Graduated from C. E. Ellison High School, Killeen, Texas
